This round sees Gosford Tigers Women’s Vice Captain Emily Crookes reach 50 career senior matches for the club – the first Woman to reach this milestone marking an historic moment in Central Coast AFL.

As a two-time Best and Fairest winner, Emily’s career statistics make her one of the most celebrated players in the GE Black Diamond Women’s competition. In her 49 games she has kicked 25 goals from the midfield/wing and been among the best players an incredible 37 times. Other career highlights include:

• 2014 AFL Sydney Rising Star nomination
• 2014 Anzac Day Medallist for best on ground Gosford v Auburn
• 2014 Davidson Medallist for Best and Fairest Gosford Women’s Player
• 2015 Anzac Day Medallist for best on ground Gosford v Auburn
• 2015 AFL Sydney Women’s Division 1 Premiership winner
• 2016 Black Diamond AFL Representative player vs AFL Canberra
• 2016 Davidson Medallist for Best and Fairest Gosford women’s Player
• 2016 Runner-up Black Diamond Women’s League Best and Fairest
• 2016 Black Diamond AFL GE Women’s Team of the Year – Midfielder
• 2017 Black Diamond AFL Representative Player vs AFL Sydney

Emily is an electric player with elite speed and silky skills. She is equally able to win the hard ball in congestion and to run and carry in space. She regularly exits the packs with the football and completes effective disposals by both hand and foot. Showing her versatility, she is equally comfortable in attack and defence and has on many occasions shut down opposition key players for the benefit of the team.
